May, 04: Extra Medals Order Deadline

Last day to order extra race medals (remember your dedicated van drivers and volunteers)!

May, 11: Last Day for Free Additions/Substitutions

After this day, adds/subs are $20 per person. (all participants must sign online waiver by this date to avoid the fee)

May, 13: Hippie Chick Half & Quarter Marathons!

The 14th annual Hippie Chick Half & Quarter Marathons http://htcraceseries.com/event/hippie-chick/ is an all women's event, designed to celebrate women! This running and walking event is held annually, the day before Mother's Day, just for that reason, and we want to help make it all about you! (Voted Best Women's Event by Competitor Magazine)!

June, 2017
June, 08: Last Day to Order Extra Shirts/Update T-Shirt Size

Last day to order extra race shirts and update sizes. Size and quantity you have on your roster on this date, is what you will receive on Packet Pickup Day. Any t-shirts submitted after this date will receive remaining sizes that are available.

June, 10: 16th annual Helvetia Half Marathon and 10k!

June, 16: Teams must have minimum of 8 members on roster

All teams must have a minimum of 8 members signed up by this date in order to participate.

June, 16: 8 Members of Team must have completed mandatory Finish Time Survey

A minimum of 8 team members must complete the Finish Time Survey by this date in order to receive a start time. Submit your most accurate/up-to date Finish Time by registering and completing one of the HTC Race Series events!

July, 2017
July, 01: Red, White & Blues 5k/10k/Half Marathon

July, 02: Race Pace / Finish Time Update

Last day to update previous race pace / finish times for estimated start seeding, within your Team Clubhouse. 

July, 11: Volunteer Registration Begins for Team Captains

NEW THIS YEAR: Starting at 10am PST, check your Team Clubhouse for the 'Add Volunteer' button  (if one team members is located within a 100 mile radius of Portland, you will be prompted). Invite your volunteers, they will be sent an automatic email invite (verify with volunteers that they have received this email). Volunteer registration and job selection will start Wednesday, July 12th at 8am PST.

Volunteer registration and training will end on August 8th at 11:59pm.

July, 12: Volunteer Sign-Up and Job Selection Begins

OPENS @ 8am PST

Volunteers will follow the link in the email that was sent. Volunteers will be able to start their training and select a job on WEDNESDAY, JULY 12th at 8am from the invite email they receive.  Volunteer registration and training will end on August 8th at 11:59pm. 

·        We highly recommend using Google Chrome and not attempting to register via smart phone (please use an iPad or laptop/PC).Volunteer registration and training will end on August 7th at 11:59pm. Click for more info on Race Volunteers.

July, 24: Last Day for Team Name Changes

Your team name will be printed on your race bib!

All Team Names as of 11:59pm on July 24th will be printed on the official race bibs! 

August, 2017
August, 05: Crawfish Crawl 5k, 10k, Half Marathon

August, 08: Volunteer Training Closes: Unassigned volunteers will be randomly assigned to open positions.

Volunteers who have completed the online training and have not selected a volunteer position will be randomly assigned to one.  These random job assignments CANNOT BE CHANGED once assignments are issued.  Closing at 11:59pm.

August, 11: Packet Hold Issued for Local Teams with less than 3 Volunteers

All local teams with less than three volunteers will not be able to pick up their race bag at Packet Pick Up.  Race bags with necessary materials to participate in the event will be held until three volunteers have been confirmed.  

 

August, 12: Start Times Posted

Team start times are posted via logging in to your Team Clubhouse.

9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Captain's Meetings at 10:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

We encourage teams to abide by the following schedule:

9:00am-11:30am

(HTC team #s 1-500, PTC Walk # 2001-2200, all High School Challenge)

11:30am-2:00pm

(HTC team #s 501+, PTC Walk # 2201+ )

August, 25: 36th Hood To Coast/27th PTC Walk: Race Day!

Late adds/subs increase to $25 per person

August, 26: Winning Teams Announced & Providence Cancer Center Fundraising Totals

5:25pm The OVERALL Hood To Coast and Portland To Coast WINNING TEAMS will be announced and honored with their team name/year engraved on a large, glass trophy that the event brings back annually!

Also, the Providence Cancer Center overall fundraising results will be announced in front of hte main stage. 

August, 27: Hood To Coast and Portland To Coast Awards Ceremony

Awards Ceremony will take place in front of main stage on the beach.

September, 24: Pints to Pasta 10k / Half Marathon Run/Walk

October, 04: 2018 HTC/PTC Lottery Selection

The 37th annual Hood To Coast/Portland To Coast Relays team selection process will take place with team entries postmarked on October 4th only! See Registration Page

November, 2017
November, 11: Veterans Day 5K, 10K, Half Marathon

The 4th annual Veteran's Day 5K/10K/Half Marathon Run/Walk cross country style race is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to spend Veteran's Day at the beautiful Sandelie Golf Course. This exciting Run/Walk offers participants the unique opportunity to be on the entire golf course! Run or walk amongst the trees, green grass, military vehicles and American flags. Be prepared for a soft running surface. More importatly, $10 of every registration will support the renovation of the Oregon Military Museum. Exciting plans are underway to renovate, and reopen, the Museum, which will honor the service, commitment, and history made by Oregon's service men and women. Join us for Veterans Day weekend 2017!  

November, 22: Turkey Trot Relay & 5k

Be the first to see the lights! The Turkey Trot Relay and 5k run/walk speeds you through Sunshine Division Winter Wonderland at Portland International Raceway. There will be music and a post-race party! The course will be well marked by the holiday lights, volunteers, and a pace car courtesy of Carr Chevy. An award to the best holiday outfit will be given during the Awards Ceremony.  Runners and walkers of all abilities are welcome!
