Race packets and t-shirts MUST be picked up by each local team at Packet Pickup.  If the Team Captain is not able to do so, they must send someone in their place. Unclaimed packets will not be available again until race day. 

NOTE the time your team is scheduled to arrive. If you don't know your team number, login to the Team Clubhouse and look at the top of your team roster.

  • All High School Challenge teams

Packet Pickup 10:30am-1:00pm (Captain's Meeting @ 11:00pm)

  • HTC team #s 501+
  • PTCW team #s 2201+
  • Race Numbers for Van 1 (Race numbers for Van 2 participants - including timing chip on one race bib for Leg 36 participant only, will be provided at Exchange 6/Van 2 Check-In Area after showing required safety gear)
  • Van Signs
  • T-shirts are picked up at Packet Pick-up (for local teams) and at the Start (for out-of-town teams)
  • (Wrist wraps are provided at the Race Start 'Team Check-In' area).

We highly recommend utilizing the MAX light rail!

Whomever picks up the race bag should also know their team number. If you don't have or know it, there will be lists of team numbers posted or visit the packet pick-up "Info Table" to request it.

***All teams are responsible for checking the number of shirts in their race bag during Packet Pick-up. Shirt size swaps and additional shirt purchases can be made only at the Finish Merchandise Tent if sizes are available.***

For teams with every participant located outside the Volunteer Radius, start times will be posted online on August 11. 

Included in the "local area" (must provide volunteers), approximately: South to Eugene, North to Centralia, WA, East to The Dalles, West to Astoria (and down to Newport).

Race bags will be available at the Timberline Start (for HTC) and adjacent to east side of Hawthorne Bridge (for PTC).

Please arrive 1 hour before your start time to check in - showing proper working safety gear (one reflective vest, two LED flashers, one flashlight or headlamp) pick-up shirts, race numbers for Van 1, and wrist wrap.
